1 Corinthians 13
1IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2And if I have prophetic powers ([b]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God's love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).
3Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or [c] in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing.
4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
6It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
8Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy ([d]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].
9For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).
10But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded).
11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.
12For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as [e]in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand [f]fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been [g]fully and clearly known and understood [[h]by God].
13And so faith, hope, love abide [faith--conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things; hope--joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love--true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Details below of a proposed upcoming crusade I am to do in Nigeria in January. Are you anywhere nearby, if so, perhaps you may want to participate.
Dates: We intend that you arrive on the 26th of January lates and on the 28th of January the first phase of the crusade begins to end on Saturday 31st January .(Time: 6pm Daily)
1st of February , you join us in a Sunday Celebration Service.
Then from on the 2nd of February to 6th of February, we got conference/revival in five locations: 1. Otusega .2 Elebele 3. Emeyal (half day) 4. Kolo (A day for each location).(TIME:6:30PM)
Then on the 6th it will be a night of encounter with the Holy Spirit (Prophetic Night) FROM 7PM til down, VENUE: Bayelsa Cultural Center or Bayelsa Sport Complex Indoor Hall. We will use any of this venue, the one that is cheaper for us pay. (We will agree on the time you will come up to start ministering). We intend to fix in some other events within this night to cover up the period before you mouth the pulpit.
We are also planning with Nigerian fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFEST) for you speak at the Niger Delta University Wilberforce Island (Conference/Revival). Then at the Bayelsa State College of Arts and Science. (Dates have not been fixed)
Mum, we are trying to place this event within two weeks, but please mum, I want to appeal that you stay with us for three weeks so if the speaking plan is too tight for you, we can expand it into three weeks period, so as to skip days for rest. I will want to know from you outside the speaking events if there will be other events and activities you will want to participate in like visit kids in their schools orphanage and things like that so we will have all of them in the schedules. Concerening the good works you want to do in Ghana and Liberia, I pray that we will find favour in your sight that we will also benefit of this ranging from education to health care. Concerning the number of persons that will attend, we are anticipating in thousands. One way we intend to beat this target is , we intend to contact one or two popular gospel artist over here to be on special appearance (dough this will depend on availability of fund.) The those that will intend to come but maybe transport fare might be a problem, we intend to make transport buses available. (This too will depend on the availability of fund). The we also plan to have your picture on t-shirts and face-caps (This too depends on availability of funds). So with all this couple with posters, handbills, bill boards, tv, and radio ad/commercials, we are sure by the grace of God that the sky is our limits. Then another thing will need from you which we will really need for the tv commercials is a dvd from you showing you ministering then in the dvd you will also speak about the events and special invite them to attend (you know the words you will use in this regards). Mum I will send you a copy of the handbill by email, so you can see it for your approval and corrections before we start the full scale publicity Mum.

It's great to hear from a Christian brother in Nigeria. Congratulations on your engagement and soon coming marriage. I pray that God will bless you and your bride with a long life together as you both seek to glorify him. I have a Nigerian coworker who has shared a little with me about life in Nigeria named Udy Ushiet but I'd like to know more if you want to discuss it. I pray that you and I will have great times of fellowship through faith space and that we will be able to encourage each other.
