This is my 2nd go around with being clean and sober. The first time I had 5 years, but no God. Nor Was I listening for His mighty,but soft and loving voice. I thought I could fix everyone, but I can't fix anyone. This time I really dug deep and opened all my wounds so God could fix me. He has repaired everything in me and even gave me my trust back and to start learning to trust. The thing I find on the dreams for me are when I'm really stressed and over tired. I only have 16 months right now, but that is also the way the enemy leads you back to his playgrounds. If you let the enemy see a Not So Sure Of Myself attitude, then he's gonna go in for the seek, steal and destroy. I find it easier to be on bended knee to my wonderful and loving ABBA PAPA and let Him know I feel weak or something is bothering me and He seems to fix me right up. Best wishes and keep coming back cause I know HE works for me in my weakest moments. Becky

thanks for the encouragement. I also have been battling on changing the church I attend due to the pastor being able to speak to me away from the church but can't speak to me inside the church because of my life style. and I know that God has made me this way and that I am loved and when I go I'll go to heaven. So I called up a friend of mine and asked if they minded picking up for church. That church is a small country church which kind of blow me away. Everyone there made it a point to speak to me and introduced themselves to me and the preacher is in recovery. During church we all asked questions and made comments and that is something i have never seen in a church on Sunday morning worship.

Hi Anna;
I guess it's how a preacher, pastor or a hootie owl that will make or break a church.All the pastors at my church are so willing to talk with me and some of my sisters who struggle with their own identity. I know who I am in Christ now, but I always must keep a keen ear to HIS voice. The Bible says His sheep know HIS voice. I firmly believe this.Even my Theology instructor told me that I listen for God's voice to give me my daily directions. And I just started knowing her in May08 for my first classes. I love God and I want to be able to do what HE requires of me, not man. I know when the enemy wants me to come back to him is when I let his way of life come to me in my dreams. He (enemy) can no longer have me. I'm a child of God's! And happy to be with God.

Becky, you hit the nail on the head aobut the enemy comes crashing into my dreams. When I get up I have tell God that I know I am His and that he will always be there to watch over me. I ask for prayers to keep me out of my on way. and not feel so overwhelmed at times. I almost feel I have my ahnds in too many things. But I also know that God is the one in control and that I just need to follow His voice and directions.

Anna;
With this being the very first time I ever let God in, I sure wish I would of really known Him so many years back. Wow!! Did I miss out on something so loving, caring and to have His breath breathed into me is truly a blessing from God. God will not give us more than we can handle. It is in scripture. Where? I'm not sure, but I do know it's there. But truly open up to God to take ALL bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, and all ucky things you feel for others and HE will Heal. Believe me, I know, cuz HE'S done it for me.
