- I'm 28 years old. I have just recently gotten married on 08/20/08. I have a 9 year old daughter from a previous marriage.
I am just looking to chat and make some new friends.

I was born and raised a catholic. From 1981 until about 2002 I went to church regularly. In 2002 I had gone through a divorce and moved back to the state of NY were I was originally from. I moved into a home that has been in the family since my great grandparents. My daughter and I resided here...as we do now. During my times here, I have struggled with trying to meet the right guy. I came in and out of bad and abusive relationships. I even started to drink and get involved in drugs slightly. 2003-2007 were rock bottom when I lost almost everything except for my daughter....shes my everything and what kept me going all this time as well as what little faith I did have. My relationship then turned violent, emotional, and physical. When the police or local organizations, neighbors, friends, etc...couldn't or wouldn't help me after a point, that's when I began to pray. I believe my prayer was truly answered because the relationship ended in a calm manor and I several months later on myspace....yes myspace....I found my current husband. When I met him, I knew he was the one for me. My thoughts and beliefs have changed since meeting my husband.
I would say officially since July of 2008 is when I first would consider myself to have been saved and then I recommitted myself this past September with my husband in front of Benny Hinn. That night he laid hands on me and I felt the anointing of God. I remember when the guys picked me up off the ground, I never felt such a peace or wonderful feeling like that before in my life. It was the proof I needed and I am grateful for that. Thank you Jesus for that and everything you have done in my life. If you would like to know anything else, feel free to message me :)

NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Have no where else to turn so I need some advice....please I feel like Im gonna lose it some times
Hey! I am wondering if I can ask you for some advice or your personal opinion. It upsets me to see my husband checking out other women ect... he doesnt look at porn no more but we are having some issues. Is it normal for guys to constantly check women out without lusting for them? He lies to me and says he doesnt some times. Fear is a tormenting spirit, it can be debilitating, and it can keep you from being active as a Christian. Fear is the opposite of faith.
Is what you are seeing causing you to fear? Can you only see bills, loneliness, pain, or sickness in your life? It is time to get your eyes back on Jesus. He came to destroy the work of the devil. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world! When Jesus hung on the Cross and declared "It is finished", that was the end of Satan's hold on the children of God.
Remember, when you are in the heat of battle, God fights for you. And who is there who can stand against the might of our God?
So today be bold in the faith. Act in boldness. You have the upper hand on the devil! He is no match spiritually for our elder brother Jesus Christ.
Greater is He that is in you than he (Satan) that is in the world!
So be encouraged today and know that you are not alone. Myself as well as others are praying for you.
