- Blessings from Jesus. The words on fasting are very true and timely. The battles we face are at times more then we can bear on our own. Fasting helps us in the battle. The other thing is those who stand with you, encourage you and give you direction. Thank God for His grace and mercy in time of need.

It is good to hear from you. I have written a little message on forgiveness, let me know if it is relevant and truthful.
FORGIVENESS STARTS IN THE HEARTS OF THE FAITHFUL:
We need to leave more doors open in our open-mindedness of love so happiness can fill the voids in our souls. The opposite of peace is a conflicting war and with this conflict comes anger and strife. Unresolved anger allows for demonic intrusion to enter the protective shield God places about a believer, because that believer has give direct permission for any demonic force to posses and destroy. Once inside our defensive perimeter, these demonic spirits can inflict greater harm to the believer unless they are driven back outside one’s protective perimeter, by rebuking them in the name of Christ.
The greatest weapon God has given believers is of forgiveness. Forgiving those who hurt us refuses entry of ant intrusion by demonic forces that would otherwise have our permission to enter our defense zone and bring even greater harm to us. We have a tendency to blame others for a perceived transgression, yet it is us who cause our own selves the greatest transgression by harboring anger and strife.
Notice in the Lord’s Prayer, or what many consider to be the guidelines for praying daily, that Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:12: “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” What God wants us doing to keep us healthy spiritually is to search our minds frequently literally daily staying in touch on a never ending basis with the Holy Spirit about forgiving others and even our own selves who has hurt us. When we have the slightest nudging from the Holy Spirit that we need to forgive someone or even our own selves, who has hurt us … what can be wrong with telling the Lord, out loud, that you forgive that person or even our own self for hurting you?
Therefore … It is Wisdom to forgive those who hurt us! Great Wisdom!

Christian New Year’s Resolutions
How can I use the New Year
To better serve my Lord?
I’ll read my Bible every day,
And be more in accord.
I’ll find new ways to serve others;
I’ll love my neighbor, too.
I’ll focus on "give" instead of "get"
In everything I do.
I’ll forgive the people I’m mad at;
Angry feelings I’ll discard;
I’ll try to love my enemies,
Even though it’s hard.
In the new year, I’ll lift people up,
Instead of putting them down.
I’ll fill my heart with love and joy,
And never wear a frown.
I’ll let go of my worries;
I’ll put it all in His hands;
I’ll repent and try to sin less,
And obey all His commands.
These new year’s resolutions
Are difficult, at best,
But there’s something I can do each day
That will put my soul at rest:
I’ll love my Lord with all my heart,
With all my mind and soul,
And if I do that essential thing,
All the rest will be in control.
New Years Prayer
Dear Lord,
In the new year, we pray
that You will guide us each new day
in paths that are pleasing to You.
Lord, the new year gives us another chance
to rededicate our lives to You,
to study Your Word
so that we know right from wrong
and to act in accordance with Your commands.
Thank You for the sense of
direction, purpose and peace we get
from aligning our lives with Your Holy will.
We pray for the strength and the will to obey You
each and every day of the new year,
and when we fail, we pray for Your mercy,
Your compassion, Your grace and Your love.
Help us in the new year to be Your faithful servants.

And his intercession is "perpetual"; though he was dead he is alive, and lives for evermore; and "he ever lives to make intercession for them" that come unto God by him (Hebrews 7:25).
Many are the benefits and blessings of grace derived to saints from Christ’s intercession for them; such as access to God through him, acceptance with God in him, both of persons and services, communications of grace from him, the application of every blessing of the covenant to them; for though the impetration of them is by the death of Christ, the application of them is owing to his life (Romans 5:10).
