Here is a great dessert to take to pot lucks in the summer.

No Natcho Desert Natcho's

Ingredients:

Flour tortilias

Sugar

Vegtable oil

Vanilla instant pudding mix

Seedless Watermelon

1can drained crushed pineapple

1Green Kiwi

Method:

Set pineapple to drain

Prepare flour totillias by brushing lightly with vegtable oil spinkling with white granulated sugar then cutting them up into cracker size pieces. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place tortillias on it. bake at 300 just til crisp and light golden around edges.

Mix pudding according to directions and pour onto a flat serving plater that has raised edges. Place in the fridge to chill and set.

Chop up watermelon in to small pieces. ( about 1/4" x 1/4")

Chop up kiwi fruit even smaller if you can

Mix watermelon, kiwi and pineapple together.

Gently spread fruit mixture on top of the pudding just before serving

Serve with prepared tortilia crackers.

If you don't want to go to the trouble of preparing tortilias substitute with Graham crackers.

Here is a good marinade for Jerk Chicken. Great for outdoor grilling. Not as satisfying on the foreman grill or the oven but it can be done.
JERK CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
• 4 chicken leg quarters (skin on or not ) or 4 chicken breast halved
• 4 limes, juiced (lemon can be used too, but make it three lemons because they are larger.)
• 1 cup water
• 2 teaspoons ground allspice
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 4 tablespoons soy sauce and pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon brown sugar
• 2 teaspoons dried thyme
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 2 teaspoons black pepper
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 2 onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped green onions
• 6 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 habanero pepper, chopped and NO SEEDS
(if you can't take the hot and spicy then use 1/2 of a habanero pepper )
DIRECTIONS
1. Place the chicken in a large bowl with the lime juice and water. Set it aside.

2. In your food processor, put the nutmeg, allspice, salt, sugar, thyme, ginger, black pepper and oil. Blend it well, then add soy sauce, all the onions, garlic and habanero pepper.Blend just enough, until its almost smooth. ( leave a little texture)

3. Pour most of the mixture into a bowl with the chicken, save a enough (about 1/2 cup) to use for basting while grilling. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours.
4. Start up the grill (best on charcoal grill)
5. Brush grill grate with some oil.Grill chicken slowly
Turn frequently, basting twice with remaining marinade mix. Then grill it how you like it till done. Be careful not to burn chicken skin.

You know, I was reading this and it makes me think of how we tell our children nursery rhymes and how we don't even know the true meaning behind the rhyme. WOW! Thanks Prophetess Angela, and the answer is: she went to get her poor dog a bone.
Look how God led you to the knowlege behind this thing I like things like this! Send more. You gave me and my mother something to think about!

Hey, do you remember this nursery rhyme?
Question 1: What did Mother Hubbard go to the cupboard to get?

Origin of this nursery rhyme
Origins of lyrics in British history
The Old Mother Hubbard referred to in these nursery rhyme words and lyrics allude to the famous Cardinal Wolsey. Cardinal Wolsey was the most important politician and churchman of the Tudor history period in 16th century England. Cardinal Wolsey proved to be a faithful servant but displeased the King, Henry VIII, by failing to arrange the King's divorce from Queen Katherine of Aragon which would enable him to marry Anne Boleyn. The King was the "doggie" and the "bone" alludes to the divorce (and not money as many believe) The cupboard relates to the Catholic Church
