I am on Creative Study Methods and just found this website today, Praise God. Has anyone out there completed the course. What are you doing now? What is the next step? I started in November 2008. I am just wondering am I working tooo slowly. Of course I don't want to rush. I am getting a lot out of the course. I guess I am also looking for some encourging words form others on how they are finding their journey with AMES.
i have only completed the old testament. i am just glad to have an affordable solution to going back to school. i plan to be a counselor. i think you should take your time so you understand it and benifit from it. after these 22 coarse if you transfer to complete bbs, then i think you have more of a timeline. dont be discouraged God lead you here for a reason
Thank you for the words of encouragement. I will take my time and you are correct. God lead me here for a reason. I am so grateful for this website. People that I can share with and share with me.
Just a word of encouragement. I have been studying for almost 2 years now. Currently, I am working on the last 4 courses and will then transfer my credits to AISOM and complete my Bachelor Degree. I try to study almost every day for 1 to 2 hours, so I am pretty serious about it. I usually study one course at a time, but will work on 2 now and then. I find the courses to be of very high quality and have learned so much. So far, I have scored an A or A+ on every final exam (no cheating), and I complete the "further study" sections as well. Take your time and enjoy yourself while learning more about the Lord and his ways.
Thank you, I had taken a short hiatis and found that I really missed studying. I not only study, but apply what I learn. This Christian walk just amazes me and I am having a ball. I haven't been diligent on the "further study" sections, though. What do you plan to do with the degree? good luck..God bless
Wow, I don't know how I missed ur message. I am not sure if I want to be a sunday school teacher or become an associate minister in my church. My pastor and I are talking about that now. Whatever God has in store, I'll be there. I am with you on the diligence with the "further study" sections also. But my plan is to use them as a review. What are your plans? How far will you be going?
I started the Old Testament Survey in January. I just took the final for the class yesterday 2/15/2010. At the age of 54 I suprised myself the memory retention. It is amazing the information retained over the years. I kept flashing back on the movies, films and Sunday school lessons, as well as the course materia, throughout my life. As long as you do the self tests and further study sections. It is fairly simple by process of elimination with the multiple choice. Prayer prior to beginning lessons and tests are the best thing I can suggest. Good Luck, God Bless, Susan P.S. Can't wait to get started on New Testament
