i am a true believer of the bible the king james verson. i am a sunday school teacher to pre-schoolers since 93. still going strong. i love kids they are a blessing from god.

I just checked out your website and listened to some of your videos. Interesting. What happened to make you reject your previous scriptural understanding of tongues and replace it with a cessationist interpretation. And what happened to cause you to deny your experience?

I belong to a Southern Baptist Church, although I was saved at a Calvary Chapel in Northern VA. I spent over ten years with Calvary Chapel and still love that group. I am not a King James only person, even though I love that translation. The Bible I have now is a New King James version. I do love the poetic flow of the NKJ. But I used to have a New American Standard version. Anyway I look forward to being a part of this group. I love good discussions on biblical matters, doctrinal or not. So I hope I can add something to this group. God bless you all.

Why the King James?
Following on from John's comment... The text underlying the King James is the Majority Text, in contrast to the few unreliable manuscripts that underpin most modern versions. The King James Authorised Version is a faithful and accurate Bible which we can hold with confidence. I have seen some churches where just about anything goes, using the Message paraphrase, etc. We need the real, reliable Word of God. I suggest this link for more info: THE FOUR-FOLD SUPERIORITY OF THE KING JAMES .VERSION There are varying qualities of other Bibles. What is at issue is the textual basis for them, and their literal translation. It is a blessing to be able to come together and have the one Bible, not a multiplicity of them. It's sad that in some churches you couldn't all read together out loud, it would be a babble.
